Freeze Your Credit: Personal Documents may have been destroyed or scattered. Click on any of these credit reporting companies links below, for information on how to protect yourself from credit fraud.
Think about putting a “freeze” on your credit by clicking on “freeze”. Contact all creditors in writing, including credit card companies, mortgage companies and banks etc., that all your person records have been destroyed by the disaster. It’s not a bad idea to contact all utility companies as well. Contact all entities that you may owe a monthly bill to.
To check your credit against fraud, use “Annual Credit Report.com” to check for any unusual opening of new credit, that you did not initiate ANNUAL CREDIT REPORT.COM
